Here to serve all your camping needs

So you've rolled into Revelstoke, got your team all registered for Glacier Challenge and looked through your tournament welcome package. Now you've got to set up camp. Which is where Gale Mulligan and the Grad Class of 2004 come in.

The Class of '04 and their parents are your Kokanee Kampground Konvenience Kommittee. They will clean up your trash, provide other conveniences, and help to make your stay in Centennial Park as cozy as they can.

"We've already bagged 700 bags of ice," Mulligan said.

A grad mum, Mulligan was also involved in last year's Kokanee Kampground effort when the local youth soccer players contracted it as a fundraiser.

So when she says they have 700 bags of ice ready, she expects the grads to do a brisk business delivering ice on the August long weekend.

Camping fees are paid up front when ball teams do their final registration. The only fees the grads and their parents are collecting will be for ice.

All the money raised goes towards the dry grad celebration for the Class of 2004. The grads will also collect all deposit bottles and cans from around the campground area and the ball diamonds.

Look for the Kokanee Kampground headquarters to your right at the top of the boat launch site as you drive down the hill past the rec centre to Centennial Park.

This year there will be no campfires.
